Ted Miller is an Executive Vice President at Clario Group with 25 years of experience in strategic communications, media relations, thought leadership, and events. He has led global public relations campaigns and managed communications teams for brands such as Apple and Royal Caribbean, and through his own agency has worked with over 100 companies, from startups to public companies. Ted has deep technology experience, along with broader experience across sports and entertainment, travel and hospitality, education and workforce development, health and fitness, and gaming.

 

Ted joined the Clario Group through the acquisition of his boutique public relations firm, Ted Miller Group (TMG), in July 2026. Founded in 2019, the firm focused on launch moments, funding announcements, storytelling, and thought leadership. TMG worked with companies such as Niantic, Axon, RapidSOS, Connectivity Standards Alliance, NEX, Drone Racing League, Resideo, RealPage, Plume, InMobi, Glance, Didomi, JotForm, SignEasy, Veea, Twelve South, Aqara, Nanoleaf, Spatial, and FreePower, and became a leading voice for South Florida’s growing technology ecosystem.

 

Prior to TMG, Ted was the Associate Vice President of Public Relations and Social Media for Royal Caribbean International, one of the world’s leading cruise brands. There, he led a team of 20 that delivered high-impact campaigns for both ship and private-island launches, as well as global storytelling campaigns focused on the crew, destinations, food and beverage program, entertainment, and technological innovation. He also led executive communications and crisis management for the brand. Ted built an in-house production team and a social media “war room,” which led to award-winning, industry-first campaigns and content. Ted’s team also managed Royal Caribbean’s external and crew content creator teams.
 

Ted joined Royal Caribbean after 8 years at Apple, where he served as a Senior Communications Manager. He worked on high-profile product launches including iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, iOS, Apple Maps, HomePod, and Siri. He served as the liaison to Apple’s app developer community and oversaw public relations and storytelling for the App Store and Apple Worldwide Developer Relations. He also contributed to or led international PR campaigns and represented the company in the UK, Germany, Japan, China, India, Mexico, Hong Kong, and Canada. He worked on Apple’s communications strategy around its user privacy case against the FBI, transition from Steve Jobs to Tim Cook, and relations with China. 

 

Prior to Apple, Ted served as a Public Relations manager for Opera Software in North America, overseeing B2B, partner, and developer communications. Before that, he was the first employee and co-founder of the consumer technology public relations agency Max Borges Agency, based in Miami, FL, and worked at the Miami Heat and Club Med in sales and marketing roles.

 

Ted is a leading advocate in the autism community, having served as a long-time board member of the University of Miami and Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism & Related Disabilities (UM-NSU CARD). He has a Master’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Miami and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a minor in Political Science from Sacred Heart University (2002). He lives in Pinecrest, FL with his wife and two sons.
