Mike Kelley is a seasoned sports media executive with three decades of experience leading innovation at the crossroads of content, distribution, and technology. Recognized in 2025 as a “Power Player” in Sports Streaming by Sports Business Journal, Mike has worked with nearly every major sports league, broadcaster, and entertainment brand to accelerate their transition into streaming and digital channel distribution. His expertise spans the technology and commercial ecosystems that underpin today’s direct-to-consumer platforms, as well as the application of generative AI and machine learning to enhance live video production, distribution, fan engagement, and monetization.
Most recently, Mike served as President of the Americas & APAC at Grabyo, a global leader in cloud-based video production and distribution. In this role, he managed international teams supporting major sports and media organizations—including the NBA, NCAA, UFC, Premier League, Formula 1, Wimbledon, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Amazon Sports, Fox Sports, and many others. Under his leadership, Grabyo advanced the use of digital tools to increase audience reach, deepen fan engagement, and drive new revenue opportunities across broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
Earlier in his career, Mike was a driving force in digital transformation at several pioneering media technology companies. At NeuLion, he oversaw business development and strategy for one of the first OTT platform providers, powering streaming apps and live event distribution for the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, UFC, ESPN, and Tennis Channel, among others. He also led media sales at Ensequence, the leading interactive TV company of its era, working with top broadcasters and distributors as internet functionality merged into television. Before that, Mike held senior roles in marketing and sponsorship at Yahoo!, MasterCard, and U.S. Soccer, where he contributed to the success of landmark events such as the FIFA World Cups in 2002, 2006, and USA ’94.
Throughout his career, Mike has been committed to leveraging emerging technologies to transform how fans experience live sports and entertainment—bridging the gap between innovation, commercial strategy, and audience connection.
